Where they came from

We came up with the idea of The Original Diaper Wallet when we got tired of lugging a big diaper bag around with us on short trips to the store. The only products out there designed to hold a diaper or two were unattractive or just didn't hold what we wanted them to hold. On days when we wanted to bring the big diaper bag, we found that the diapers got squashed at the bottom of the bag - and it was always hard to find the wipes, disposal baggie and changing mat when it was changing time.

We also like to leave an Original Diaper Wallet in dad's car for emergencies - since he likes to be prepared for anything when he's out with the kids. The Wallet is also great to stick in your large diaper bag to keep your diapers from getting squished in the bottom of the bag...just pull out the wallet and your diapers, wipes and changing mat are all in one place!

These diaper wallets are great for parents who use disposable diapers AND for those who use cloth diapers - something no other company can claim. The inside pockets are designed to stretch around a couple of disposable diapers of even one large cloth diaper. Moms who choose to use cloth shouldn't have to compromise style when it comes to carrying around their cute cloth diapers.

Dimensions and Specifications

The Original Diaper Wallet is approximately 10 X 6.5 inches when folded. The inside pockets will hold a hard or soft package of disposable baby wipes, a mini-changing mat, a wet bag and from 2 to 4 disposable diapers (depending on the size of the diaper) or 1 cloth diaper. It comes with a front pocket that's perfect for holding a grocery bag or plastic diaper disposal bag to get rid of any soiled diapers. You can also use the front pocket for travel-size wet wipes, money, credit cards or pictures of the kids! A large velcro closure ensures the wallet stays closed and is double stitched so that it lasts for many many uses. The carrying handle fits perfectly over women's and men's wrists and is designed to hang onto stroller handles. If you have the type of stroller with one continuous handle, the Diaper Wallet can hang off the shopping bags hooks that often come as accessories for these strollers.
The mini-changing mat is approximately 13 X 18 inches. It folds up nicely and fits in the Diaper Wallet pocket. It is made with coordinating fabric and a layer of waterproof PUL. PUL is Polyurethane Laminate Waterproof Fabric that was designed for surgical gowns and drapes and later for cloth diapers because it's waterproof and can be washed and dried. This mini-changing mat is just right for placing underneath baby to keep baby's bottom off an unsanitary changing surface - or for keeping the changing surface (your car) safe from baby's bottom during a messy diaper change. We have tested this changing mat on babies as small as 10 lbs up to toddlers that are over 35 lbs and it works great on all sized kids.
The wet bag is approximately 8 X 10 inches. It also folds up nicely and fits in the Diaper Wallet pocket. The exterior fabric is made with coordinating fabric to your wallet and the inside is made with PUL that has been double stitched along the edges and is only joined to the bag at the zipper for added waterproofing. Wet bags are used most often by cloth diapering moms to carry home a soiled cloth diaper for washing, but can also be used by moms for carrying home soiled or wet clothing for later laundering. It definitely helps keep wetness and odor in - and can be thrown in the laundry with your soiled clothing when you get home. It also has a carrying strap for throwing over a door handle or your stoller handle.
Washing Instructions

The Original Diaper Wallet is not designed to be washed. Simply wipe down the fabric with a damp cloth and lay flat to dry.

The mini-changing mat can be machine washed and dried. For best results, wash on cold and dry on cool.
